After the disappointing results, Klinsmann took a vacation. Klinsmann, who had already taken a seven-week vacation, took another month off. With the K League ongoing, he seemed to be focusing on preparing for the A-Match in September and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup early next year, but he left Korea again.

He returned to Korea on July 24 for a vacation. He also watched a friendly between Team K League and Atletico Madrid. He then left for the United States again.
