Korea beat France 4-1 in the first match of Group D of the 2023 World Badminton Federation (BWF) Sudirman Cup held in Suzhou, China on the 14th.

After confirming victory, Korea’s ‘Kim Kong Group’ Kim So-young (Incheon International Airport) – Gong Hee-yong (Jeonbuk Bank) participated in the women’s doubles final. Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong finished the first leg of the group stage by beating Margot Lambert-Anne Tran 2-0 (21-8 21-16).

Korea will meet England in the second round of the group stage on the 15th.
