As KBL expanded the Asian Quarter to the Philippines ahead of the 2022-2023 professional basketball, most clubs started to reinforce their power using the Asian Quarter.
Nine of the 10 clubs have Asian quarter 안전놀이터 players, and 8 of them are from the Philippines, a basketball powerhouse.
Of the 180 games of the 4th round of the professional basketball regular league that took place until the 1st, 132 games, or 73.3% of the total, included even one Asian quarter player in the entry.

Asian Quarter players can be awarded the rookie of the season if their professional team experience is less than one season (less than 1/2 of the season).
Except for Lee Seon Albano, players from the Asian Quarter can be awarded the Rookie of the Year award if they meet the conditions for participating in the competition.
